The slide show window has two modes: full screen and window. In the
full screen mode all other windows are hidden and the current image is
shown against a black background. In the window mode the image is scaled
to the size of the slide show window unless tiling is on. Pressing [ 7] bring this window to the front.
How do I start the full screen slide show?
Using the Group menu, choose Full Screen Slide Show At Beginning
[ [] or Full
Screen Slide Show At Selection [ ] ] or press [ENTER] or [RETURN] with the slide show window selected to
change it from window size to full screen size.
How do I stop the full screen slide show?
Use [ESCAPE] or [ .] or Escape button to toggle the slide show window from full screen size
to window size. Toggling the slide show can be useful. For example, drag
the displayed file to another folder. Resume the slide show from window
mode by pressing [ENTER] or [RETURN]. Use [ W] to stop the full screen slide show and hide the window.
How do I advance the slide show?
Press the mouse button, or [RIGHT ARROW] key to present the next slide
in both window and full screen mode. Use the Left Arrow key or Left Arrow
button to show the previous slide. Your current thumbnail selection in
the Thumbnails Window will advance also. Turning on Use Timed Advance
in the Slide Show panel of the Settings Window will cause a full
screen mode slide show to always automatically advance according to the
time set in that panel. Use Timed Advance is also toggled with
the space bar. [OPTION] clicking in the slide show window mode will toggle
the secret timed advance mode.
What is the Preferred Monitor setting?
If you have connected more than one monitor to your computer you will
be able to choose which monitor the full screen slide show appears on.
